Ditta Artigianale, the café from Italy’s preeminent specialty coffee roaster, will open the doors to its first North American location on September 21, 2022. Ditta Artigianale Toronto is a forty-seat café with additional standing room will be located at 604 Richmond Street West in the ground floor of The Harlowe condominium.
This will be Ditta Artigianale’s first location outside of Florence, Italy.
Firenze is currently home to four other Ditta Artigianale locations.
Open seven days a week, Ditta Artigianale Toronto will offer specialty coffee, pastries, brunch, small plates and aperitivo.
Along with other spirits, cocktails will feature Peter in Florence gin, an artisanal Tuscan gin available exclusively at Ditta Artigianale.
A full menu along with additional details will be announced in the coming weeks.
Founded in 2013 by world-renowned barista and roaster Francesco Sanapo alongside Patrick Hoffer, Ditta Artigianale offers the highest quality coffees from Italy and around the world with a focus on total transparency and sustainability throughout the supply chain.

Francesco is the personification of coffee, winning Italy’s best roaster in 2019 and being a finalist on two occasions in the World Barista Championship.
His love and passion have spread to Ditta Artigianale staff who have now won a combined four Italian barista championships.
