While it’s widely known that Italy is simply one of the most appreciated cuisines worldwide with its unrivaled adoration of pizza and pasta, we think there’s one Italian dish that doesn’t quite get the recognition it deserves – tiramisu!

Luckily, on March 21 it’s World Tiramisu Day and Toronto‘s favourite Pizzeria Libretto has some of the city’s very best tiramisu to celebrate this wonderful food holiday.
A classic Italian dessert, traditionally made from ladyfingers dipped in coffee, layered with a mixture of eggs, sugar, and mascarpone cheese, and topped with cocoa, tiramisu has a light, fluffy texture and a wonderful balance of sweetness and slight bitterness.
One of our personal favourites in the city, readers can indulge in a piece from any of Pizzeria Libretto’s five locations (after enjoying some of its signature pizza, of course!) and share with the family thanks to its generous portion size.
