Chick-fil-A is set to open its latest restaurant, Chick-fil-A Appleby Crossing, on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 2331 Appleby Line in Burlington, ON. This new location, the 17th Chick-fil-A restaurant in Canada, is owned and operated by Wesley Lyon. The restaurant will offer dine-in, pick-up, and drive-thru services, operating from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and is expected to employ between 80 to 100 full- and part-time team members.
As part of Chick-fil-A’s commitment to supporting local communities, C$34,000 will be donated to a local non-profit through Second Harvest, Canada’s largest food rescue organization. This donation is part of Chick-fil-A’s ongoing efforts to combat hunger, with the company having contributed approximately C$2 million to hunger-relief organizations since 2020.
In addition, Chick-fil-A Appleby Crossing will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table™ program, which redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local shelters, food banks, and soup kitchens. This initiative has already created over 25 million meals through donations from Chick-fil-A locations across Canada and the U.S.
Chick-fil-A enthusiasts are encouraged to visit the Burlington location on opening day to experience the brand’s signature hospitality and menu items.
