Reigning Champ is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its latest pop-up store located at Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Toronto’s leading destination for designer and luxury brands.
Spanning nearly 2,000 square feet, the temporary outpost has been meticulously designed to embody the essence and culture of sport through Reigning Champ’s lens. Before even stepping into the space, visitors and passersby are greeted by our 18-foot LED wall displaying custom 3D animations across the marquee.
The immersive experience continues as you step inside, with larger-than-life, gold-wrapped trophy statues aligned in formation against the storefront windows. Across from the statues, a special edition of our Home Court Arcade Basketball Game, crafted in smoked bronze glass, invites customers to interact and enjoy the spirit of competition.
Being a temporary 6-month activation, the interior walls and pillars feature RC-stamped OSB wood cladding, as if to emphasize the store’s ephemeral nature while introducing an unexpected tactility to the space. Stadium-inspired steel benches and bleachers serve as elevated fixtures to house merchandise and provide seating for waiting guests. These stark industrial elements are contrasted by a central lounge area with antique patina leather chairs, sourced from the early 1900s, as a nod to our adoration of timeless quality and heritage.
To celebrate the grand opening, exclusive refreshments will be offered to visiting guests, for a limited time.
Reigning Champ’s Yorkdale Pop-Up Store opens 10:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, April 25th. Official end date to be announced.
